One of the Algorave founders, Yaxu (aka Alex McLean) collaborates as part of Slub (with Dave Griffiths and Adrian Ward), Canute (with YeeKing), Aallexx (with Alexandra Cardenas) and several others. He originated the TidalCycles live coding environment, now an active free/open source project. He also performs solo and releases music on Sheffield’s Computer Club label, in particular Peak Cut EP and the forthcoming Spicule LP.
